7: LUNA PARK/ CONEY ISLAND- New York City, New York

Coney Island/ Luna Park is one if not the most famous boardwalk amusement park. It is home to the legendary Coney Island Cyclone, one of the oldest coasters in the country. Even though this park doesn't have many great coasters, it really does have a classic boardwalk park feel. With the beach and a great New York City skyline, this is a park you can just have fun taking pictures of! If I ever went, I would definitely like to ride their famous coasters, including, Cyclone, Thunderbolt, and Steeplechase. This park will light up at night in true boardwalk park fashion. I don't think it is one of the best parks out there, but it would be really cool to visit! Unfortunately, when I go to New York this week/weekend, I will not be going to Coney Island, but hope to go sometime in my life.

6: KENNYWOOD- West Mifflin, Pennsylvania

Kennywood is one of the oldest theme parks in the US. Like Coney Island, this park doesn't have as many coasters as say a Six Flags park, but the coasters they do have are classic famous coasters. Phantom's Revenge is an amazing hyper coaster, once the fastest in the world with a unique drop going under Thunderbolt at 85 mph. Their wooden coasters are very old and famous too. The Jack Rabbit famous for its double down, Racer for being a unique Mobius Loop coaster, and THE Thunderbolt, a legendary wooden coaster. The park not only has famous coasters, but they are famous for their Potato Patch Fries. The food is definitely above average. The park is also full of great flat rides and other attractions. This is a really old park, but still gives a great experience. I don't think I will be going to this park any time soon but definitely sometime in my life.
