Six Flags Over Georgia posted on their Instagram today this picture with the caption, "Hmmmm... 'very interesting'! #StayTuned #SFOGThrills".

WHOA!!!!!! This is gonna look awesome! I love the blue! It actually looks really good! We all pretty much know that Ninja will be getting refurbished this year. On Opening Day, I took a few pics of construction trucks and a guy actually working on some of the track. Now they have started the repaint. It all came about when we saw on the Six Flags website that Ninja is temporarily closed. And on the park map, the Ninja is blue and white and the caption says ALL NEW NINJA COMING LATE SPRING 2016. Furthermore, on Opening Day, I took these pics.

Yes, from the map we could definitely assume that the coaster would get repainted blue, and many predicted new trains, specifically the newer Vekoma MK1212's like on Carolina Cobra at Carowinds. This would eliminate head banging which is why many consider Ninja the most painful coaster out there. I personally think they will add more comfortable trains. When I contacted Six Flags, they said they couldn't give out all the details but it specifically said they would make the ride more "enjoyable and comfortable". If that doesn't scream new trains, then I don't know what does. Also, on Screamscape, I saw that the new vest style restraints would be used but we still don't know if they are new trains, what kind, etc. So when will we get to see these new trains? I will most definitely be riding the "all new Ninja" when it opens this summer! It is good to see Six Flags refurbishing old rides and making them more enjoyable to guests like New Revolution at Magic Mountain, VR on Ninja at St. Louis, and more. Stay tuned for an announcement soon from Six Flags Over Georgia.

See all the pics I took at Opening Day HERE.
